The Automatic Coffee Maker That You Can't Live Without

There is no doubt about it, the absolutely must have, can't live without it appliance for anyone in the modern world has to be the automatic coffee maker. Having an automatic coffee maker in the house is a comfort that most of us would not want to live without. I have had many coffee makers over the years but I recently upgraded and I'm really happy with my upgrade. Appreciating that I have a mild addiction to the delicious coffee bean, I treated myself with a new automatic coffee maker for Christmas last year and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Keeping in mind that it is the beans that make a great cup of java and not the actual coffee maker, choosing an automatic coffee maker boils down to what features are on your musts and wants list for a coffeemaker. For a price you can buy programmable controls and thermal carafes if that is what is important to you, but if you can live without the programming, this $20 model outranked six models that cost between $100 to $300, and that was good enough for me.

Before You Buy Consider This

The automatic coffee maker I chose, which has since become known as my best Christmas gift ever, was the Braun Aromaster KF400. It is simple but sufficient and it can brew up a storm in a flash. My needs are simple, so for $20, I now own a great coffee maker. However, before you run out and buy yourself a coffee maker, consider the following:

• How much coffee do you consume? (Remember if you use a 10-12 cup machine for a single cup, the taste of the coffee will suffer.)
• How long does it take you to consume a pot of coffee? (You may want to consider a thermal carafe that will keep your coffee hot and fresh for hours.)
• Do you need programmable features? (You may want to set up your coffee machine the night before so that you will wake up to freshly brewed coffee.)
• Convenience of use

I highly recommend the Braun Aromaster automatic coffee maker. I think that it makes a great Christmas gift, birthday gift or just run out and buy one for yourself. It may be the very thing you've needed around the house and could be a great gift to buy yourself the next time you are out shopping.
